Hi, my name is
Natalie Cattany
Graphic Designer

Hello
Hi, I’m Natalie — a Business Marketing student at Colorado State University with a passion for creativity, strategy, and design. Check out my portfolio or contact me for your projects.

About
At CSU, I’ve built hands-on experience as a student graphic designer at the Lory Student Center, creating marketing campaigns, event promotions, and visual content for a wide range of audiences. This experience has sparked a deeper interest in how great design shapes user experiences, inspiring me to pursue a future career in product design and UX/UI design.
Outside of the classroom, I stay active in campus life through my involvement in multiple Greek organizations, where I’ve strengthened my leadership, collaboration, and event planning skills. I’m passionate about blending creativity with problem-solving — whether it’s through designing an intuitive user interface, creating a strong brand presence, or planning a major event.
I’m excited to continue growing at the intersection of marketing, design, and technology, and to build digital experiences that are not only beautiful, but truly meaningful.

Project #1: Baile
This project was created for an event celebrating national Latinx/e heritage month. The client requested a design inspired by traditional baile flyer styles. Through re-search, I discovered that baile posters are characterized by vibrant and extravagant elements, using a mix of clashing design elements, fonts, and images. Using both these insights and the client’s reference photos, I developed a design that incorporated layered graphics and a clear hierarchy of text and elements. This project allowed me to refine my skills in Photoshop and Illustrator to blend photographic and illustrative elements.
What I loved most about this project was the research done on design styles I wasn’t already familiar with. It helped me capture the culture in a way that felt authentic. Plus, it was a great way to learn more about my community and connect with it on a deeper level.

Project #2: Infographic
For a composition course focused on marketing and digital communication, I designed an infographic titled Rams Against Fast Fashion to raise awareness about the environmental impact of the fashion industry. I applied UX/UI principles to create a visually compelling and easy-to-navigate layout that effectively communicates key statistics and solutions. The project combined research, copywriting, and graphic design using Adobe tools, with a focus on clarity, accessibility, and visual hierarchy—skills I now apply to web design and marketing content creation.
